 Services Provided:

The Link is a 15 bed halfway-house that serves males, 19 and older, from throughout Nebraska and elsewhere as capacity allows.  The continuum of care is designed to enhance individual needs including physical well-being and emotional and spiritual growth.  The Link halfway house treatment program is a highly structured program affording the individual resident the opportunity to integrate personal discipline into his life.  The care is provided based on the individual need in a group setting, for open-ended programming over a period of six to twelve months.

Specific services include: Individual Counseling
  Group Therapy
  Educational programs
  House activities (recreational, cultural)
  Transportation as needed
  Assistance with budgeting
  Teaching of living skills
  Assistance with employment searches

The Link encourages residents to utilize community resources including:

  • Work Force Development (State Job Service)
  • Nebraska Dept. of Health & Human Services
  • Nebraska Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Northeast Community College
  • Local employment agencies
  • YMCA (we have a pass for resident use)
  • Social Security Administration
  • Local mental health agencies
  • Alcoholics Anonymous
  • Narcotics Anonymous
  • Local churches
  • Others

There are 3 AA meetings held each week at The Link.
There are 30 AA meetings each week within walking distance of The Link.
There are 7 NA meetings each week within walking distance of The Link.
